Local Private Hire Business Based In Fulbeck Lincolnshire

The business is owned and run by Mr. Barrie Butler who moved to Fulbeck in 2019 having had many years experience in the transport and coach industry, not only as a driver but as a transport fleet owner and operator of over 40 plus different vehicles for over 30 years.

It’s with this knowledge it was decided that it was time that the rural villages in our area were catered for and not have to depend on private hire vehicles or taxis coming all the way from Lincoln, Grantham or Sleaford.

With the high cost of petrol and diesel today, these distances to and from the main towns are between six to fifteen miles one way (and twice that distance on a return trip) all with no passengers on board.

These dead miles as they are called do not make much money in many cases and additional costs to the client’s fare. Being a locally based business, these dead miles costs are greatly reduced for our local customer area and therefore will benefit the customer in costs and time.

Having started supplying a Private Hire Business just as COVID-19 hit proved to be a dramatic experience for us all, and serious thoughts on whether to continue was considered, however since then BB Travel Fulbeck has proved to be a major player providing transportation for all walks of life in our local communities both for local and long distance travel

Getting children to and from school can also be a chore for parents, no worries there, although we do not provide contractual School Runs for Customers or Councils on a regular term basis, BB Travel do offer After/School services for children who need to get home after staying on for certain school activities, serviced by DBS credited and approved drivers with South & North Kesteven District Councils.

We are very fortunate to have a great number of local restaurants, hotels and public houses scattered about our region that offer an excellent selection of different cuisines. It is so nice to be able to join your company to celebrate and part take in a few drinks with them and not have to worry about any possible drink driver prosecutions that have serious consequences as well as the safety factor.
